NewYork-based actor, filmmaker, model and cookbook author, Joe Zaso is a performer on the stage and screen.
He has been featured in HBO’s 2014 production of The Normal Heart and Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street. Dubbed by critics as a “Horror Himbo,” Joe has appeared in numerous thrillers and science-fiction films such as Virus X, 5 Dead on the Crimson Canvas, Beast, Braincell and Darkness Surrounds Roberta. He has also been seen in such award-winning short films as Perry St. and Revenge of the Egg. His most recent credit as a producer is the multi-award-winning Halloween-themed horror film, Jack Attack, directed by Bryan Norton and Antonio Padovan, and starring Helen Rogers (VHS). Joe has modeled in the print ads for designer Michael Kaye and has been featured in ads for such companies as Legal Seafood. Joe was featured in the 2015 calendar, Ripped Genes: The Mature Men Edition. Joe has taken his love of cooking and combined it with his “Horror Himbo” status to create the world of Café Himbo which resulted in a web series and two cookbooks, The Café Himbo Cookbook and Café Himbo: Cookbook II. |
